An On-Site Consultation is a meeting at your home or site to provide horticultural and/or design advice. Prior to the consultation, information is collected from the client (usually by telephone) to determine the specific needs for the consultation.
Items that might be discussed during a consultation include:
- species selection (and quantities where appropriate)
- retention or removal of existing plants
- discussion of soil issues and recommendations for improvement
- pest identification and advice for treatment
- design concept ideas and sketches
Horticultural notes and design sketches are made on-site during the consultation, and are provided to the client on the day.

The On-Site Consultation fee is $395. The timeframe is 2 hours on-site.
Consultations are useful for clients who are unsure where to start with their garden project and want some direction. This is a low-cost option to explore design ideas, or obtain specific advice on ‘what plant and how many to plant where’.

Often the implementation is carried out by the client, however if required referrals can be made to suitable landscape contractors.
